The M&TM Online Community

A thriving online support network on a mission to empower and support Mums of young children, through their menopause journey. Founded and hosted by Emily, an experienced Health Visitor, Mum to 3 young children and who has lived experience of struggling with the perimenopause while raising baby twins.

Emily has created this community to reduce the overwhelm and loneliness associated with menopause whilst parenting young children. The membership has been described as a 'lifesaving community' by members.

You don't have to face menopause and motherhood alone!

Are you experiencing the perimenopause or the menopause and have preteen children, and feel too young to join the 'normal' menopause support groups?

Do you feel like you can't relate to other groups?

Do you feel like no one else is going to understand a hot flush while managing a toddler meltdown?

Do you feel different to your Mum friends and are unsure who would understand?

You don't need to feel like that anymore.

Everyone has a different story and experience when it comes to motherhood and menopause. Within the M&TM Community we have open discussions, with no judgement, allowing you to share your experiences, feel comfortable to ask questions and seek advice from others, who can completely relate to what you're going through.

This online community is a hub for sharing knowledge and resources. A completely safe space to vent and get everything off your chest, with people who really do get it!

Finally, a menopause club we do feel included in.

Together, we will not only focus on our own wellbeing but also on being the best parents we can be despite our menopause experience.

The community aims to offer support and encouragement, reminding each other that we are not alone in our journey.

Join the community today and connect with Mums who really understand.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I join if I don’t have POI or Early Menopause but I still have young children?

-Of course! You can join with any kind of menopause, with or without an official diagnosis. The support and connection is still the same and is still important.

I am worried I don't have time to join

-There are lots of members who don't come to anything 'live' but get a huge amount of reassurance knowing that they have a community who completely understand at their fingertips, at any time that they need them. The great thing about our expert speakers is that everything is recorded and you can do it at a time that suits you. There is no pressure to come to anything live. There is also no pressure to do all of the things on there, it is provided as a variety in hope that something will suit you.

Can I join if I used donor eggs to conceive or adopted?

-Absolutely yes. You don’t even need to ask this question. We also have a separate area for donor conception and adoption. We have 4x a year donor conception virtual meet ups, hosted by Tia.

I can’t make the live call times, does that matter?

-Not at all. Some people don’t ever attend the live meet ups. We have a continuous chat room function. You can use the community as much or as little as you like.

Can I remain anonymous?

-You can. You are welcome to put a different name in when you sign up. But there is nothing to be ashamed of and we all have the same struggles.

Is the community via Facebook?

-I deliberately avoided social media. The community is housed on an app called Mighty Networks and is really easy to use.

I want to join but I am really shy and not sure I will cope with the calls.

-That’s completely fine! You are welcome to join on mute with no camera if you just want to come and listen. You’ll still find all of the other information beneficial. The women are so lovely I am sure it won't be long until you feel more comfortable.

What age of child can I join with?

-There is no age set, we have babies right up to early teenagers. The experts are aimed at pre teen children. It’s more about finding your support that feels right for you.

Can I cancel if I can't afford it?

-Yes, you can just join a month at a time. I understand that the cost of living is hard at the moment and you are welcome to come and go!
